Who is responsible for your information
Gil Sassi is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in connection with enquiries about coaching services.
What I collect
If you use the enquiry form, I may collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, location, preferred coaching format, and the information you choose to include about your goals or circumstances.
Why I use it
I use enquiry information to respond to you, understand what you are looking for, decide whether my coaching may be suitable, arrange an initial conversation, and manage related correspondence. For ordinary enquiry information, this is based on taking steps at your request before a possible coaching agreement and, where relevant, my legitimate interest in managing genuine business enquiries.
Health and injury information
You do not need to provide detailed health information when making an initial enquiry. If you choose to include information about your health, injury or another sensitive physical issue, I use it only as needed to understand and respond to your enquiry. The contact form asks for your explicit consent to this use. You can withdraw that consent at any time, although this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who processes the information
This website is hosted using Cloudflare. Form submissions are processed by Formspree and notification emails are received through Google. These service providers process information on my behalf or as part of providing their services. I do not sell your personal information.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry, maintain an appropriate record of correspondence, or meet legal, insurance or record-keeping requirements. If you become a client, relevant information may form part of your client record and be retained for longer where necessary.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising trackers or non-essential analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice and any consent controls will be updated as appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent where consent is being relied upon.
Privacy questions and complaints
For a privacy request or data protection complaint, use the contact form and write “Privacy” at the start of your message. I will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days, take appropriate steps to investigate it, keep you informed where necessary, and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.
